We've been making lots of changes to make BallerHub easier to use. The first and probably most important change is that you can now upload videos to your profile. To upload a video, click on the My Account tab, then click on upload video at the top of the settings box at the top right hand of the page. You'll notice that the settings box is also new.

On the My Account page, we've also added an activity feed so that you can keep up with your entourage on BallerHub.

If you have any problems making changes to your profile, hit me up with a message, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. And if you have any suggestions to improve BallerHub, pass them along. We like receiving feedback and are always working to make the site easier for you to use.

Taking over 60% of the votes in the Most Baller Whip finals, BallerHub member JohnHartford’s modified Salsa Red VW GLI beat out some fierce competition to claim the $250 price.   In the Biggest Bucket (junker car) portion of the competition, Dixie’s green Mercury Cougar took the $100 prize.

John’s GLI competed against Gordon_Gekko’s black AMG Mercedes and H2Much’s pimped-out Hummer.  Apparently Dixie’s ride is such a bucket, nobody thought they could compete, so it went unchallenged. The Whip Competition ran from January 17 through Friday, February 8, with the finals beginning Jan. 31.

The first round of the whip competition officially ended at 12 pm pst on Jan 31st. We are in the process of verifying that the owners of the most baller whips are in possession of the cars. The finalists will be put up in a poll on Monday and voting will run through Friday the 8th (we're extending it one day to give more people the chance to vote).

We've got some more changes in the works that should make BallerHub easier to use. We're also working out a couple of kinks in the registration process. If you've got any suggestions for how we can make the community better in the meantime, send me a message.

First off, Mark and I would like to thank you for taking the time to join BallerHub if you are already a member. We've spent the last couple of weeks making subtle changes to the network to make it more intuitive for you to edit your profiles and upload items. The site, as you know it, has been in test mode. Today, Jan. 17, we are officially kicking off our Beta launch, and to celebrate, we're announcing the Whip Competition to give you the chance to win some cash for posting pictures of your car(s).

The winner of the competition with the Most Baller Whip will receive $250 cash. The "winner" with the Biggest Bucket will get $100.

To enter, simply upload pictures of your car(s)to your gallery and classify them as "whips." If you already have pictures of your car(s)uploaded, go to the "Manage Uploads" tab on the "My Account" page to re-classify your images.

BallerHub members select the winners via the "Battle" function on the site. On January 31, the top three battle leaders will be put up in a poll on the BallerHub homepage, and network users will get to pick the final winner. The same deal goes for the Biggest Bucket prize, although we'll be selecting the three finalists from the bottom of the Battle Leaders list. Bucket finalists must participate in a minimum of five battles to qualify. Both polls will run through February 7. For more Whip Competition details click here.

Thank you for taking the time to visit BallerHub, the community website for the Ballerhouse Network.

After several months of hard work, we are excited to launch an early Alpha version of the site. That means we are testing BallerHub, working out the remaining kinks, and making changes based on your feedback.

If you haven't already done so, please register, create a profile, and upload some pictures of yourself, crib, and/or ride(s). If you see something on the site that could be improved, please send me a message through the site or email me at ajy@ballerhouse.com.

BallerHub is best supported on the Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera browsers. We are working to make the site more compatible with Safari, so bear with us while we make those improvements.

Here are some of the improvements you can expect in the near future:

• A more intuitive, bug-free registration process.
  
• Easier and faster image uploading. Currently, pictures upload best if you shrink the file size before you upload.
• Faster and easier music uploads.

Beyond those changes, we will also be making lots of other improvements and adding content daily to BallerHouse and BallerRide. So make sure to check back frequently.
